The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic has taught mankind many crucial lessons. Health is the real wealth and body is the temple of God, are two such lessons.
Due to a critical health scare people have changed their priorities in life and have resorted to adopting a lifestyle in which health is given the top priority. Everyone is taking care of health and everyone is preserving and worshipping the body (like God) all the time.
And now God is happy. How? Just look around yourself.
By the grace of God, nature has started regenerating itself. We are seeing beautiful blue skies again, many species of birds, animals, and insects are returning to earth, and pollution levels dropping globally.
This is nothing less than a miracle. We must continue our efforts and make certain that these positive developments are sustained so that we do not get back to the old world. We have to keep this temple of God clean.
Your Body is the Temple of God
Now we cannot afford to ignore our bodies. It is the temple of God undoubtedly; the holy abode of Brahma, Vishnu and Mahesh. Keep in your mind that Brahma Ji, Vishnu Ji, and Shiv Ji reside in Brahma Granthi, Vishnu Granthi, and Rudra Granthi respectively in your body. Therefore, worship your body like God and try not to pollute it by developing unhealthy habits and diminishing its immunity. Your body is your jewelry and it is invaluable.
Your Body is Precious
There is no other thing more precious than your body and health. You cannot live a happy life without a healthy body. That is why, in the first place you should take care of your health and, in the second place, there is no value of worldly things than the value of your health. Your health is precious, preserve it by eating healthy and having a good sleep.
Sleep Well
There is nothing more precious than the value of good and peaceful sleep. Sleep allows your mind and body to recharge. Healthy sleep helps the body remain healthy and avoid diseases. Without good sleep, the brain cannot function well. And sleep cannot be purchased by spending money. Remember this.
Give Priority to Health
Overdoing anything is not a good idea. Wealth and otherworldly necessities are no doubt, equally important in life. Thus make a priority list, which items are needed by you in your life; which of them are necessary; which are convenient; and which of them are luxurious.
You can discard the items which lead to a lustful life. You can also discard luxurious items, but retain some of them if you so wish. You should have things which add to your comforts and not the ones which would add woes to your life. Remember this. Therefore, give top priority to your health every time and live in your temple happily.
