Seek Blessings of Lord Ganesha

Lord Ganesha is the presiding deity of obstacles. He also demonstrated that everything can be carried to its successful conclusion provided we strive with patience. Once, the great sage Vedavyasa who wished to compose Mahabharata prayed to Lord Ganapathi to transcribe it for him. Lord Ganesha agreed on the condition that if Vedavyasa failed to dictate the next hymn when He had taken down one hymn, He would consider himself relieved of the assignment. Sage Vedavyasa said that it was acceptable to him provided Lord Ganesha grasped the meaning of every hymn before taking it down. As it took considerable time for Lord Ganesha to contemplate the hidden meaning, sage Vedavyasa found enough time to compose the next hymn. Thus, the great epic Mahabharata was completely composed and recorded in black and white. This goes to prove that if we embark on any task with the blessings of Lord Ganesha and work patiently success is ensured.
