Inspire Others With Your Kind Words

“If You Cannot Help Them, Inspire Them.”

A little help can make the life of anyone a lot easier. But everyone is not in a condition to offer help all the time. In such cases, you can inspire others, if not with action, then with kind and inspiring words. God has given you the power to speak and express so that you may encourage others effortlessly.

Use this power and motivate your loved ones by saying a few words.

Let’s see how.

1. Stay Away From Uttering Negative or Demoralizing Words

The easiest thing to do in this world is demotivating and criticizing people. A single sentence- like ‘Leave It, You CANNOT Do It or You Are Not Worth It’- can shatter a person’s self-confidence.

But think, how you would feel if someone undermines your capabilities, makes fun of your lifestyle, or criticizes your choices?

No one likes to be criticized, so if you have nothing positive to say, just don’t say it at all. Let the other person live his/her life.

2. Be a Constructive Critic, If At All

Sometimes, constructive criticism brings wonderful results. In case, if you want people to come up with a better outcome, put your criticism in a positive way.

‘I think, a little salt would make this dish better’; ‘In my opinion, you can make your home more beautiful by putting things in an organized manner; ‘A little cleaner ‘Puja Ghar’ (temple) will improve the energy in your temple and help you meditate better.

Also, note that such constructive criticism should only be provided if it is asked for. If someone asks for a suggestion, put it in a positive manner. Otherwise, silence is always the perfect choice. Everyone has his/her own priorities, way of doing things, taste, and lifestyle.

3. Share Your Own Experience in Words

Try to be a little expressive and extroverted if you really want to help someone.

For inspiring others to bounce back, you can share what books have made a huge impact when you were in the same situation? What sources of inspiration help make crucial decisions in your life? How did you become healthy and happy despite bad times?

4. Tell Them That You Trust Them

When you’re inspiring people with your words, you’re trying to empower them so that they may recognize their best. And this is when they realize that you really trust them and their abilities. This inspires a lot.

In Ramayan, for example, when during the arduous search for Maa Sita, the time came to cross the gigantic ocean, the king of Bears, Jamavanth said, only Hanuman Ji is able to cross the vast ocean. He reminded Lord Hanuman how he was born of Vayudev and how he is packed with great powers.

These words of Jamavanth inspired Lord Hanuman–

“This is you, Kesari’s son, oh, awful warrior, and you are the son of the Air God, and even by your nature you are identical to your father, and even by your flying capacity, you have powers like Him, in all respects. Right now, we are in the lurch, and among us, you are the only one, packed with ability and heroism. To us, you are the other Sugreeva, the brave king of monkeys.”

Everyone knows what happened next. Due to these inspiring words, Lord Hanuman crossed the ocean effortlessly and accomplished those tasks that seemed impossible.

So, keep inspiring others with your words and witness the wonderful results.

Moreover, it’s been said “Actions may speak louder than words, but do understand, words are the seeds of those actions. Words successfully tell your loved ones, how you feel and what you think about them. Understand that, for those who need encouragement, a single caring word, works as a soothing pain balm. Keep saying such words and keep inspiring others.
