What does the GITA Offer!
Shrimad Bhagavad Gita contains divine words emanating from the mouth of God Himself. Its glory is infinite and unlimited. It embodies the supreme spiritual mystery and secret and contains the essence of all the four Vedas. Gita comprises all the scriptures and is superior to all the scriptures. It is an unfathomable ocean of wisdom, an infinite store of knowledge, and a bottomless sea containing endless strata of meaning. It is the essence of all the scriptures.
Even as the Gita fully reveals the truth about Devotion and Knowledge so does it unfold the secret of Action. Gita sees God everywhere and in everything. Equanimity is the dominant note of the Gita. The test of God-realization lies in the attainment of equanimity. There is not a single chapter in the Gita in which there is no reference to Devotion in one form or another. Devotion has been accorded a very high place in the Gita and definite instructions have been given to Arjun at several places to cultivate Devotion.
