Then Good Luck & Wealth Won’t Leave You
Everyone needs wealth in order to live well. Wealth is certainly one of the important means making the existence of humans smooth and comfortable. So, everyone wants to earn a great amount of wealth through various means. Some get successful and some not, yet everyone tries differently.
Attracting Wealth and Good Luck
Further, in attracting wealth and good luck, some people tend to be luckier than others. And many feel it’s not fair as someone is too wealthy and lucky while they are not.
The truth is that fortunate ones aren’t lucky by sheer chance. They’re fortunate because of the mindset they bring to life and the lifestyle they follow despite setbacks. All it takes to make wealth and good luck stay permanently with you is to know the right and the wrong and always adhere to the right way of life despite difficulties.
Here’s a story.
Shocking Outcomes from the Bad Phase of Life
Once upon a time there lived a very wealthy man in a city. His business was running smoothly. He was attracting good luck and wealth to his life with comfort. He was influential and he took pride in his wealth and beauty all around.
But unfortunately, the man incurred a huge loss in his business and a bad phase started in his life. One by one all his possessions started leaving his house.
So one day, a sparkling white light appeared and started leaving his house.
He asked, “Who are you leaving my house?”
The light said, “I am the wealth. Your wellbeing and good luck were due to me only. Now you don’t have anything, so I have to leave your house. I am not in your destiny anymore. I have to leave now.”
Unperturbed, the man said, “Alright, please leave.”
When the wealth went, yet another light came out and started leaving his house. It was his good luck.
The man asked, “Now why are you leaving?”
The good luck said, “You don’t have wealth anymore, so I also have to leave.”
And it also left his house.
All Beautiful Attributes Left One by One
Then another light came out and started leaving; the man asked, “Who are you now.”
“I am your influence,” it said.
“Since your lack and wealth are not with you so you’ll lose your influence as well.”
Following the influence, one more attribute started leaving his house.
The man asked, “Who are you?”
The attribute said, “I am the radiance of your face; you don’t have wealth, influence, or good luck and so I am also leaving.”
And it also went but the man didn’t say anything.
After some time yet another light came and started leaving. When the man asked about her it said, “I am your pride and self-respect; now you don’t have wealth, influence, wellbeing or luck so I am also leaving your house.
And likewise, all beautiful attributes left his house one by one.
One Attribute that Could Not Leave
Finally, an exceptionally bright attribute in the form of the most shining light came out and was about to leave.
The man asked, “Now who are you leaving me in my bad circumstances.”
That radiant power said, “I am Dharma; since all are gone so I am also going.”
Now the man became restless and said with a firm belief, “You certainly cannot go like the others. My wealth, good luck, influence, wellbeing all went abruptly in my bad days; I did not say anything as it hardly bothers me, but ‘Dharma’ just cannot leave me alone.”
But dharma was reluctant, it said, “I have to leave you anyway.”
The man said, “Alright, if you also want to leave, just leave, but there is a condition.”
When Dharma asked, what’s that condition, the man said, “If I have disrespected my Guru through my words or deeds in any part of my life; if I failed in helping the needy when someone came seeking my help; if I did injustice to anyone; if I have uttered disrespectful words before elders; if I have lost interest in Yajna and worships; and if I did not adhere to wise karma and hard work or have committed any wrong even unknowingly, then, of course, you may leave.”
Now the Dharma said, “But you did not do anything like that.”
And the confident man said, “So if I adhered to my Dharma in all circumstances then how Dharma can leave me alone in my bad circumstances?”
Petrified! The Dharma replied, “You are right, you are an epitome of wise deeds & Dharma so I can’t leave you.”
And Dharma stayed with the man.
Adhere to your Dharma Always
When Dharma stayed with the man, even in his bad phase, love & cooperation also returned followed by compassion, self-respect, fame, influence, good luck and ultimately, wealth.
After seeing wealth, the man said, “Why you returned to me, just go away.”
The wealth replied, “Where Dharma is residing I have to stay there anyhow, I just cannot leave you now.”
Therefore, understand that, no matter what happens in life, no matter how bad the circumstances are, just adhere to your Dharma and keep doing good work. Your influence, self-respect, beauty, wealth, and dignity won’t leave you ever.
