Gratitude Towards all Those Who Have Practiced the Statement
“जो भी दुनिया के श्रेष्ठतम कर्म हो सकतें हैं, उन सब को यज्ञ कहा गया है। कोई भी ऐसा कार्य जिसके द्वारा हम दूसरे का भला करते हैं,यज्ञ है। मानवता की सेवा भी एक यज्ञ है। हर दिन एक काम सेवा का जरूर करें। प्राणिमात्र के लिए आपके द्वारा की गई हर सेवा परमात्मा को स्वीकार होती है।“
“Whatever may be the best deeds of the world, all of them are called Yajna. Any act by which we do good to others is Yajna. Service to mankind is also a Yajna. Every day perform one such act. All such actions, for the welfare of mankind, are accepted by Paramātmā.”
Indeed, to serve humanity is to serve God. And for many months now we are seeing how positive changes have occurred in our society amidst the ongoing pandemic, just due to the services of kind-hearted volunteers.
Volunteers are Worth Their Weight in Diamonds
I must say, volunteers are worth their weight in diamonds because they devote their time and talents without any return. It’s vital to acknowledge their great contributions.
Let all the Corona Warriors, doctors, paramedic staff, cleaners, vendors, social service organizations, caregivers, grocers, or any individual who has helped someone in the smallest manner know they are valued.
We are seeing that a lot of individuals and organizations are involved in volunteer services despite big challenges. The ongoing pandemic has affected the works of social service organizations and volunteers in an unimaginable way. But our volunteers are going strength by strength.
Moreover, a lot of social service organizations are active online and benefits are reaching the needy. Many young people are also taking part in social services through social media. These are great signs. But these efforts are not enough. Efforts need to be expedited so that all the needy people, all the underprivileged people can receive the help they need.
Volunteers aren’t a one-time effort, it can be a way of life. You have volunteered if you have helped someone cross a road. Every small act matters. To serve in Whatever Way You Can. Right, Karma can do wonders for you. Do something good for others and it will come back to you in one form or other. People remember you for your good deeds and for what you have done for society.
A few powerful ways you can serve humanity could be-
A Golden Heart is Enough to Serve Humanity
Your small deeds can also bring a huge change in someone’s life. Awakening the love for God in someone’s heart or motivating them to follow the right path in life is also a kind of service to mankind. If your intentions are genuine, you can transform anybody’s life through small acts of kindness and support. Devote yourself passionately to the service for mankind or animals. In the course of time, it will liberate you and provide you with a blissful life.
Gift Yourself a Beautiful Society
Always be thankful to the Almighty for having blessed you with the life of a human being. You are the Supreme Being in the entire universe and you have in your hands the power of transformation.
Make the most of this power through noble actions and by doing good deeds. A life dedicated to the service ‘Sewa’ is the most inspiring life that can give birth to a beautiful society.
A living space in which all are helping the needy, a society wherein there is no place for jealousy, hatred, and greed, and a society which is blessed by the love of God. Remember, if your little deeds are bringing hope into the life of the downtrodden and the disheartened, then indeed you are living a good life.
Be a strong helping hand of support and bring a light of hope into the life of the needy. And let peace and harmony be the main reason behind every kind of service rendered to the country and its people. I would also take this opportunity to shower gratitude, love, and blessings on all the volunteers who have been a part of the organization and have helped in reaching and serving a large number of people in need for over the years now.
You all are the true spirit of our organization and ‘Sewa’ at large!
