Sadguru is the lamp in the darkness

Sadguru is like a lamp in the desert. He dispels the darkness from the lives of the ignorant. He leads the aspirant from darkness to light. He infuses life into a lost soul and provides encouragement for the person to move upward without falling into the trap of disappointment and disillusion. He applies various means to lift the sagged spirits of the disciple. Through meditation, he enables you to acquire your lost knowledge and blunted inspiration. He enables you to rediscover yourself. Sadguru is the guide and Pole Star to enable you to row your wrecked boat to the safety of the riverbank. He enlightens you. He lets you see your past and peep into your future frame. Meditation should not be searched outside, it lies within. Meditation cannot be purchased in the market. He only is the sole source of acquiring the art of meditation. He helps you to achieve salvation. He is a sure means to lead you to the holy doorstep of the Supreme Power.

Do not be afraid of anything

Be not afraid of anything. You are the children of the Almighty – and, He is fearless, and you are the spark of that luminous flame. Through the rays of His light, many ignorant people find their way to salvation and happiness. You can do anything and everything. The soul without you is potentially divine. Have faith in that divinity and fear nothing. It is the fear that weakens you, demoralizes you and pulls you down to the bottom of the world. Fear kills initiatives. You begin to lose confidence in yourself and consequently, you continue to drift away from your Lord. Diminish fear and extinguish the flame of fear from your life with all your might and courage. Draw inspiration from our great rishis, maharishis, sages, and patriots. They were not afraid of anything. They were so bold that even the death was afraid to get closer to them. Death was reduced to the level of a slave. It is the Satguru who leads you on the path of fearlessness; strength in life, weakness is death.

Do not run after a mirage

While under the shadow of the Guru you will find all your ego and darkness merging with light. We are indeed the victims of the mirage which only torments us. We run around aimlessly but, in this search, we do not get satisfaction. Success continues to allude us. We only face disappointments and despondence. We look for satisfaction but only the frustration comes our way. We are also like that camel who is lost in the hot desert in search of water and shade. We do not get the proper direction and get lost on the unknown path. Then the question which arises before us is – who is the one who could show us the right way and who could put us on the proper path of life. Yes, there is just one and the only one, and that is the Satguru. He can put us on the right path by giving us consolations and encouragement. Maintaining a proper equilibrium between the inner and the outer world is to live a life devoid of miseries. The world is like a mirage, devoid of its own wealth. It cannot provide your real wealth, for your wealth lies within you. Satguru makes you aware of your energies, strengths and potentials and enables you to walk fearlessly on the curvy path of life.
