Life is tough and full of struggles, but you’re a wise soul ready to face the struggle and so, you are worthy of happiness.

Lately, the life of mankind seems to be moving from one trouble to another. People are facing a global pandemic, overwhelming lifestyle changes, financial uncertainty, social and personal turmoil, and along with that a series of natural disasters, hurricanes, etc. Many people are dealing with personal losses as well including the demise of loved ones, and poor health. This is a time of unparalleled struggle and disruptions.
Living through such times can take a heavy toll on a person’s approach toward life and overall mental and physical health. Some people may even feel that they are hopeless.
But understand, there’s no way to avoid adversities and grief in life, yet there are many ways to deal with the crises and regain a sense of happiness.
A deep belief in yourself and in the ultimate power of God can help you stay happily despite struggles. When you move in life while staying connected to your God, a sense of peace and happiness would stay with you automatically. This philosophy of eternal happiness has been propounded by Lord Krishna. When He incarnated on the earth, His entire life became profound teaching how mankind should live in the Kali Yug.
He said, even if the situation is war-like in your life, meditate and connect your every action with Yog. It doesn’t matter, whether you are a devotee, or a monk or a man of Karma, add ‘Yog’ to every action. Even your state of grief can be turned into a form of Yog. He said, your knowledge should not be an ordinary knowledge, it should be like a Yog, ‘Gyan Yog’; your devotion should not be plain, it should be ‘Bhakti Yog’; your each Karma should be a ‘Karma Yog’ and renunciation should be ‘Sanyaas Yog’.
So, whether you fail in life or acquire success, or receive great accolades, turn everything in Yog.
Dong anything with competence is Yog and only Yog may connect you with the person or power that is not near you. So, through your right Karma, get connected with God who is not near you. Your Karma, knowledge, meditation, and devotion, everything should connect you with God. That means no matter how is your temperament right now, you can connect yourself with peace, bliss, happiness and God anytime.
The inner turmoil will go on, problems will go on, ups and downs will go on, keep ‘Yog’ with you always. Problems will arrive but you have to learn to cross through these problems like a Yogi. Never surrender to tough circumstances or wicked people. Your surroundings should be filled with wise and honest people. If in your relationship, someone is doing wrong with you, you should correct that person’s behavior and live peacefully.
Lord Krishna teaches to raise a voice against inhumanity in order to stay peacefully. Further, Lord Krishna also says, in Kali Yug, modesty will get hurt, people would fall for money but a wise man must protect his virtue.
Therefore, forget your ego, and help the needy if you come across them. Helping the needy will provide you with inner happiness even if, you are going through tough times. Your wise doings would connect you with God. You must love fellow human beings. And most importantly, amid struggles do not leave your music behind. So, learn from Lord Krishna and keep playing the flute, play your inner euphony in a relaxed state and enjoy the music of bliss.
Also, stay modest yet intelligent, know how to give respect and how to earn respect, adjust with others and make others adjust as well. Let your every action be in a form of Yog and get connected to God. Follow these beautiful words of Lord Krishna and live holistically and happily despite struggles in life.
