Parents are a beautiful blessing of God

They bring us into the world, take care of us and show us the right path in life; the embodiments of unconditional love, infusing confidence and courage in us so that we can live with dignity in society. There are plenty of success stories of doctors, writers, scientists, and businessmen who owe their great success to the efforts of their parents.

No one can replace them in life and when it comes to mothers, it is hard to describe them in exact words.
When clouds were asked to describe a mother, they said, a mother is like a rainbow with seven colors of life. She can replace any relationship, but no relationship can replace her. She can fulfil the duty of anyone. When a gardener was asked to define a mother, he said a mother is an exotic flower of the garden whose colour, beauty and fragrance is unforgettable.

When the sea was asked to say something about a mother, it said, a mother is so deep she can hide thousands of tumultuous things within her and yet stay calm. A mother’s heart is deeper than the sea. When a child was asked, you tell what a mother is. The child said a mother is a priceless endowment of God. If at the end of the world, the eye would remember just one relationship, it would be the pure love of a mother.

She is always ready to protect her children like a shield. She hides all their mistakes and scolds them when no one is watching. Her love cannot be described. And when a writer was asked to define a mother, he said I have words for virtually everything and everyone, but I have no words that can describe a mother for in the whole etymology there is no better word than ‘Mother’.

Then Guru is asked to define a mother, and Guru said, I cannot call her a Moon because it bestows soothe and calm feeling upon all, it also has beauty, yet it is full of scars. A mother, however, bestows peace and coolness upon everyone, and there is no impurity in her love. I cannot call her the sun as well. Though when the sun arrives, thousands of paths become clear, but it can burn you as well. A mother, on the other hand, shows the right path in life, and acts like cool shade for her children.

So, should I call her earth that endures everything and eventually engulfs us all, giving shelter to everyone? A mother does the same, yet the earth has a boundary, but the mother is infinite and an unlimited edition. And so, I cannot define her as earth as well. So, should I say, a mother is like the sea? A mother is deeper than the sea and she is not salty like that. A mother nourishes her children with sweet milk. So, she is not the sea?

Ultimately Guru said, God wanted to shower upon humans His beauty, persona, love, compassion, and mercy and when He got the opportunity to send it all on the earth, He put everything together in one form we know as mother and so it is not easy to define a mother. She is indescribable and God created a mother in His own image. But what about a father? Is he also indefinable?

A father is also a unique gift created by God

No one can see his love. When a father enters the home, enters with scolding his children as if a tough policeman has arrived. He always reprimands all showing their shortcomings. But do you know why a father behaves like that? A father endures immense suffering to put food on the table for his family. And he wants to ensure that his children grow tough and strong, ready to face the winding path of life. Only a father truly understands that the world is a cruel place and to live here with dignity, strong self-discipline is needed. So, he wants his children to stay disciplined and strong.

A father is ‘courage’

So, the firm personality and behavior of a father is true ‘love’ for his children. A father is ‘courage’ and real strength for his children, and he is the pillar of the household. He is the ‘smile’ on the face of his children. Even if his pocket is empty, he fulfills all the demands of his children. The father too has a tender heart, he is the only one in this world who wholeheartedly wants his child to be more successful than himself. Such is a father. No relationship can replace him.

everyone must earn the blessings

Therefore, for prospering in life, everyone must earn the blessings of their parents. Parents are the two God-sent Angels for you on this earth. They are here to fulfill your needs and wants and protect you from every storm. Therefore, love them and respect them unconditionally. You will never ever be able to pay them back for their Divine Love. You should offer prayers for them daily to ensure their happiness.  And most importantly, respect your parents till eternity!
